The Charlottesville Community Scholarship Program’s endowment funds enjoy tax-exempt status through the Charlottesville Area Community Foundation, which holds them in a donor-advised fund.
As your generosity helps the fund grow, the number of awards we can grant and value of these awards will increase.
The CCSP board recently approved a new split in allocations of donations. Gifts will now provide both immediate and long-term scholarship support: 60 percent will be designated for the scholarship endowment and 40 percent will be allocated for expenditure during the next scholarship cycle.
