HomeNewsCSP Announces Ten New Promise Scholars

At its annual dinner for donors, friends, scholars and their families on May 23, 2018, the Charlottesville Scholarship Program announced ten new winners of its Promise Scholarships.  These ten students–nine seniors from Charlottesville High School and one freshman at Lynchburg College–have each been awarded a renewable scholarship to the two- or four-year college of their choice.  Promise Scholars can receive up to $9,000 over the course of their undergraduate program of study.

These students have distinguished themselves by their outstanding academic achievement, hard work, involvement in extracurricular activities, and admirable character.

CSP is proud to help promising local students who come from low- to moderate-income families achieve their dreams of post-secondary education, and we thank our donors for their invaluable support of these scholarships.  Congratulations to our winners!
